Kathleen Culver, Board President Kathleen has always loved spunky, local, independent organizations like Pickford Film Center where one can can have fun, learn new things and have a unique, shared experience with others in the community. She has been involved with PFC for over 3 years, joined the board in 2008 and has served as President since early 2009. A Bellingham native, Kathleen lived in Philadelphia and Spain for 8 years before returning to her hometown. She is an executive assistant at Trillium Corporation and lives with her Spanish husband Javier in an old Craftsman house. |

James Willson, Board Vice President James Willson joined thhe PFC board in 2002. He acts as Vice President and serves as contractor liaison for the PFC's new theater on Bay Street. Other board experience includes Whatcom County Crisis Services and Skagit County Critical Stress Management Team Recently retired from Mount Vernon Fire Department, he now works with commercial property investments. He's happily married (Becky!) with three children, and is an occasional and aging triathlete. |

Jason Heck Jason Heck joined the board in January, 2010. He currently teaches as WWU, and works part time as a political consultant. He loves all kinds of film but has a soft spot for campy horror flicks. He is excited about expanding the Pickford's already impressive operations, and is also strongly devoted to the vision of having a local movie theater that has a bar attached.

Max Kaiser Max Kaiser is a professional filmmaker who owns his own film production company, Hand Crank Films, here in Bellingham. Max is the recipient of numerous awards including the Golden Eagle, and Golden Cine awards for his recent PBS documentary, "On a Wing and a Prayer: An American Muslim Learns to Fly." Max genuinely loves films and both entertainment, and as a tool to help us find a way to a being better people towards one another. Max is happy and excited to be part of the Pickford film board - the hardest working board in Whatcom County! |

Brian Sibley Brian Sibley is founder and president of Sibley Public Relations. He joined the board in March 2009. He’s been a film buff since 1977, when his parents took him to see the original Star Wars film. Brian brings a background in marketing to the PFC, which helps the organization to reach new audiences, create new opportunities and bring diverse groups of people together to celebrate film and film-making. |

Kathy Washatka Kathy has been on the PFC board for the past 6 years after secretly hoping to be asked for a number of years before that. Her passion for movies, nonprofits and this community drove her straight to the Pickford where she has been able to use her personnel and consulting skills. She is an avid movie buff and loves making "must see" lists for all her friends. To support her movie habit, she runs the Northwest Training Institute at the Opportunity Council.
