Our New Home
Slated to open in late 2010, PFC will serve as a community living room, situated at the epicenter of the Arts District in downtown Bellingham. The new film center will allow PFC to better fulfill a core mission of the organization – providing our community with the highest quality movie-going experience possible at an affordable price. The Capital Campaign to build PFC has raised over $3 million of its $3.25 million dollar goal and construction is now 70% complete. The new Pickford Film Center will feature:
- 250 seat capacity, triple current level
- Two screens offering a wide range of programming for all ages
- 1300 sq. ft. lobby/café/concessions for after movie discussions
- Fully ADA compliant
- LEED certified with sustainable building practices integrated throughout
- Theatre and lobby rental space for business or personal use
